The cardigan pattern that has sparked all the interest in this 100% wool yarn is a free download at www.ruths.dk. It requires 480 grams of yarn. There's also a pattern available for purchase at this link that takes just under 100 grams for a fairly small but lovely shawl.
Since we buy this yarn by weight and the skeins vary by as much as 30 percent, the price per skein varies. It's a little bit different from the standard skeins we're used to in the U.S., but that's just part of the knitting adventure with Kauni! We charge about $7 for 50 grams; skeins come in 130 to 160 grams weights and are priced accordingly.
We add our cost to ship (up to eight skeins for $8.95 with Flat Rate Priority Mail ) but there are no additional charges. Unless you live in Colorado, there's no sales tax.
