Sock knitting is addictively fun as well as portable, and you’ll learn a lot in a little project. Intermediate.

We’ll teach you the basic stitches and how to crochet in the round. Get started on a crocheted scarf or hat right off the fashion pages.

Send your little one off to school in this basic and practical cardigan, sized for a 6 to 8 year old with optional style details for either a girl or a boy. Advanced beginner, must be able to cast on, knit, purl and bind off.

New knitters will learn to put their purls through their paces with these pretty face cloths that make super gifts. You’ll learn a variety of stitch patterns, beginning with the simplest and continuing with more advanced patterns in weeks two and three.

Intermediate Knitting

Ready to move on but not quite confident enough for a sweater or socks? This is the class for you! We’ll learn some new cast-ons, review increases and decreases, and practice reading a pattern and fixing mistakes. Bring your questions and your project wish list!

short row workshop
Sunday, July 19, 1-3 pm
Simply put, a short row allows you to add shape to your knitting. Used more and more in sophisticated patterns, they cure a myriad of fitting problems. Our class will teach you three different methods to turn your rows and hide the evidence, and we’ll also brainstorm new ways
to use them. All skill levels.
