Angela Boyd sent pictures of her completed shawls. They're gorgeous, Angela!
Stephanie McLaughlin filled us in on her progress:
I had to change from the felting event to the Scarf Super G. I was having trouble finding a zipper I liked to use with my purse, but the final blow was when I dug out the yarn from my stash I had been eagerly anticipating using (bought years ago) and found out it was 100% wool—machine washable! AUGH!!!
I had just printed off the web a funky scarf pattern and when my daughter saw that it was Marc Jacobs inspired she begged me to make it for her. Not the most challenging pattern but it allows me to concentrate more on the Olympics.
Diane White has already completed her first project for the Scarf Super G event and decided to take on another, so she's off and knitting for the Hat Halfpipe
This just in from knathlete extraordinaire Cathy Ott, who has taken on 12 projects in her quest to complete the most Ravelympics events ever:
I have eight finished – Aerial Unwind, Charity Curling, Junior Olympics, Hat Halfpipe, Mitten Moguls, Cable Crosscountry, Skelegurumi and Single Skein Speed Skate. I have started the Bag Jump and Beading Biathlon/Sweaterboard Cross (haven’t decided which yet) and hope to have two more finished by the weekend.
Good luck to you, Cathy!
Teddy came in with Ravelympian Chris Shearer Saturday to model the gorgeous Fair Isle Sweater she's knitting for the Nordic Colorworks event. Can't wait to see the finished product!
