This classic and and ancient stitch pattern will teach you the basics of lace knitting at its most approachable level. Simple variations and textures of yarn make it endlessly interesting, a worthy choice for almost any project -- pick a wash cloth, guest towel, scarf or stole. This class will get you started reading your knitting and knowing how to fix basic mistakes. It's perfect for beginners who know how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. Instructor: Jane Cost: $25
First Lace Two for One Tues.,
March 20 and 27, 6-8 pm Spring will be coming by late March, and
we'll want to think about light and airy knitting. Never worked lace?
Here's a chance to begin -- with one easy motif and an easy border, you

Jan. 18 and 25, 6-8 pm This very popular, classic pattern from Jared Flood dates back to the beginnings of his internet fame. Reminiscence Shawl Tues., Feb 14, Feb. 28 and Mar. 13, 6-8 pm Reminiscence offers lace knitters a real challenge -- pattern work on every row so no resting, plus an interesting shape and intriguing lace motifs.
